Prišla sva do zelo očitnega zaključka.

Abstract:
We are Lovro and Luka, second-year students at Gimnazija in Ekonomska Srednja Šola Trbovlje and researchers from the field of physics. The title of our research paper is Bencin proti Dizel (Petrol vs. Diesel) and as the name suggests, we focused on comparing the attributes of petrol and diesel fuels and cars with these types of engines based on different criteria. We researched physical properties of heat and dug deeper on the performance of internal combustion engines. We set five hypothesises, that led the course of our research and when we reached its’ end, we evaluated them.
Just like with every research we asked our selves what we already know on the chosen topic. We wrote down the already known facts and gradually added them into the paper, that we started writing in the year 2016/17 as part of the compulsory optional contents (OIV). First, we roughly split the work between ourselves and started writing the theoretical part of the paper. We had a few problems with literature, since there isn’t much accessible material on the topic. Luckily, we found everything necessary in our physics books and a few reliable websites.
In the end, we came to a very definitive conclusion. Each of the two fuels has its pros and its cons. One it better under some circumstances, and the other under other. Nevertheless, the best solution would be simply ending the use of fossil fuels and replacing it with a greener form of energy.
Key words: petrol, diesel, engine, energy, fuel consumption, pollution, transport. |
