Od vil do vilic s kemijo ali brez nje

Povzetek:
V Sloveniji se je stopnja samopreskrbe s hrano po vstopu v EU in odprtju velikega trga nevarno znižala pod mejo 50 odstotkov, kar pomeni, da potrebujemo več zelenjave, sadja, mesa in preostalih kmetijskih izdelkov, kot jih pridelamo. Premalo učinkovita slovenska pridelava hrane potrebuje spodbudo —ne le v strateških načrtih, ampak tudi v praksi. K temu sodijo tudi promocija ter ozaveščanje in spodbujanje kupcev, da bi pri izbiri živil dajali prednost domačim.
V nalogi sem predstavila, da se s kemijskega in tudi z zdravstvenega vidika priporoča uživanje sezonske zelenjave in sadja iz lokalnega okolja. Lokalna trajnostna oskrba ima poleg bolj kakovostnih živil še širši družbeni pomen.
Napravila sem kemijsko analizo tal v okolici Zagorja in Izlak, delno raziskavo je izvedel laboratorij KTL Regionalnega tehnološkega centra Zasavje. Iz raziskave je razvidno, da je imela na kakovost tal velik vpliv bogata industrijska in rudniška zgodovina Zasavja.

Abstract:
The rate of food self-supply has fallen significantly below 50 percent since Slovenia joined the EU, which means that we import more vegetables and fruits than we produce. The ineffective production needs boosts —not only in strategic plans but also in practice. This includes promotion as well as encouraging and raising awareness of the consumers so that local food becomes their preference.
In this research, I discuss how eating seasonal vegetables from the local area is recommended from the chemical as well as medical aspect. Local sustainable supply is not only significant due to higher quality foods but is also of wider social importance.
I analysed soil samples in the area of Zagorje and Izlake, a partial analysis was done by the KTL laboratory at the Zasavje Regional Technology Center. It is evident that the rich history of mining and industry affected the quality of soil in Zasavje.
